We spent MONTHS re-architecting @typefully to support Google+Email login. Typefully started as a X-only side-project, so the whole codebase was built around X auth. So proud of the team for pushing this over the finish line. Now we can finally work on more cool new features ๐

Installed iOS 26. I like the overall look and feel, but man, some Liquid Glass UI is awful. The fully transparent notifications are particularly jarring. Itโs such an obviously bad idea to make notifications with small text so hard to read. But I feel like the direction is good, and after one or two iterations, this could indeed feel much better than previous simpler flat UIs. Homepage and lock screen already look quite better than before.

I've had a theory for a long time now, that AI will make us (on average) dumber and intellectually lazier, but I'm still hoping I'm spectacularly wrong.
