Switched from iPhone 15 Pro → 17 Pro.
Pros:
- •Gaming performance is incredible. Even when it gets burning hot, almost no throttling. I couldn't play GRID Legends for more than 15 min on the 15 Pro without huge brightness/FPS drops. On the 17 Pro I played a long session on flight without issues. Pair it with a Backbone and it genuinely feels like a small Steam Deck
- •Feels faster and more responsive everywhere
- •Camera improvement is not huge but noticeable, and that 8X zoom is solid
- •Display feels almost identical, but the 3000 nits in sunlight are nice and also fewer reflections
- •Battery life is feeing good so far
Cons:
- •The "blue" color is meh. Looks almost violet in daylight, definitely worse than a dark gray
- •Rounder shape feels nice but when I picked up my old 15 Pro it felt lighter and nimble in comparison
Overall happy with the upgrade 👌
